Why do midsoles turn yellow?
Oxidation — the rubber reacting with air and UV light. The longer it's left, the deeper the yellow. Unyellowing reverses the process.
What is the difference between whitening and unyellowing?
Unyellowing (Rp 40,000) targets oxidation yellowing on midsoles and rubber. Whitening for the upper is now part of the White Shoes Deep Clean package (Rp 55,000) rather than a separate service.
What if the upper is dull too?
Take the White Shoes Deep Clean (Rp 55,000) — a dedicated treatment for white uppers, canvas, and mesh. Paired with midsole unyellowing it gives the best result.
My midsoles are badly yellowed — still fixable?
Usually yes. For heavy oxidation we suggest a Hard Clean (Rp 50,000) first, or a midsole repaint (Rp 40,000) when the colour can no longer be recovered. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will check.
Is the result permanent?
The existing yellowing is removed completely. Natural oxidation can slowly return over time — store shoes somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight to keep them white longer.
Can I combine it with a deep clean?
Yes — recommended, actually. A deep clean first lets the treatment work at full strength. WhatsApp us for a bundle.
